Toledo basketball player dies after collapsing
Toledo, OH (Sports Network) – Toledo basketball player Haris Charalambous
collapsed at the start of morning conditioning on Monday and passed away. He
The school said Charalambous, a 6-foot-10 junior center from Manchester,
England, was transported to a local hospital where he died.
CPR was performed at the scene by athletic trainers until paramedics arrived.
The exact cause of death will not be known until the Lucas County Coroner
report becomes available.
“This is a tragic and unexpected situation,” said University spokesperson
