New Mexico State’s Nelson suspended

Las Cruces, NM (Sports Network) – New Mexico State forward Tyrone Nelson has
been suspended indefinitely from the men’s basketball team.

A specific reason for his suspension was not given by head coach Reggie Theus.
However, he did say it is not related to allegations that Nelson was involved
in a robbery.

Nelson averaged a team-high 17.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game last season
on his way to earning first-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors.
