Oregon State’s Cuic suspended

Corvallis, OR (Sports Network) – Oregon State forward Sasa Cuic has been
suspended indefinitely, men’s head basketball coach Jay John announced on

John was purposefully elusive as to the exact reason for the move, but
revealed the suspension resulted from both basketball and non-basketball

“Basketball is a team sport and it’s important that we remember that,” John
said. “I don’t have a timetable and we’ll see how it evolves.”

The Croatian-born junior played in five games this season, starting four,
while averaging 10.6 points per game.

Cuic will most likely miss the Beavers’ two-game road trip at Northern
Colorado on Friday and Montana State on Sunday.
