Freshman Greg Oden, playing in just his second career game, was a perfect 8-
for-8 from the floor for 16 points and had three blocks. Mike Conley Jr. added
12 points, five boards and five assists for the Buckeyes (8-1), who have won
two straight since their lone loss of the season, a defeat at the hands of
North Carolina to close out November.

were defeated for the third straight game in blowout fashion. The team was

eight during the run and capped it with a dunk 3:06 in. Cleveland State,
though, netted 10 of the game’s next 11 points as Victor Morris’ three-pointer
made it a 13-10 game.

Ohio State then countered with a 10-3 burst to go up 23-13. Bullock stopped
the bleeding with a layup at 9:38, but the Buckeyes scored the next six to go
ahead 29-15.

Cleveland State put together a run to get back into the game, reeling off 10
in a row to climb within 29-25. Carlos English hit two three-pointers during
the run and his second trey capped the burst with 5:52 remaining.

Then, after trading three-pointers, Ohio State went on a 9-3 run to close out
the half and take a 41-31 edge into the break.

The Buckeyes outscored the Vikings 37-26 in the second half as the game turned
into a rout.
