Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Darren Collison had 15 points while Arron
Afflalo chipped in with 14 as top-ranked UCLA cruised to a 74-53 victory over

Josh Shipp added 13 points and six rebounds and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute ended
with eight points and 12 boards for the Bruins (9-0), who were coming off a
tough test from sixth-ranked Texas A&M last Saturday.

Shawn Hopes had a game-high 17 points for the Grizzlies (6-7), who have
dropped three in a row to fall below .500. Vova Severovas was the only other
player to score in double figures for Oakland with 11.

The Grizzlies kept it close for most of the first half, pulling within 21-19
on Derick Nelson’s three pointer with just over four minutes left to play.

However, Michael Roll nailed a jumper to spark a 12-0 UCLA run to close out
the first half and give the Bruins a 33-19 lead at the break. The spurt
featured two three-point plays by Russell Westbrook and Collison.

Oakland never threatened in the second half as the Bruins remained unbeaten.
