Tampa, FL (Sports Network) – Lee Humphrey netted a game-high 15 points as
fifth-ranked Florida easily handled Florida A&M, 72-57, in a Sunshine State
showdown at the St. Pete Times Forum. Humphrey was 5-of-13 from beyond the
arc, the most three-pointers he’s ever attempted in a college game. Walter
Hodge and Taurean Green each had 11 points for Florida (9-2), as head coach
Billy Donovan matched the school record for wins with 235, tying Norm
Sloan’s mark. Leslie Robinson scored 11 points and was one of only two
players in double figures for Florida A&M (5-6), which saw its four-game
winning streak snapped. Brian Greene scored 10 points in a losing effort.

Wichita, KS (Sports Network) – PJ Couisnard did not miss a shot, scoring 21
points and grabbing five rebounds as the eighth-ranked Wichita State Shockers
scorched the Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks, 102-46. Couisnard, who made all
eight shots he took from the field, led six Shockers to hit double-figures
in points, as Wichita State (8-0) coasted to remain undefeated. Karon Bradley
scored 14, and Kyle Wilson scored 12 and pulled down eight boards for the
Shockers. Phillip Thomasson scored 11 points and grabbed six boards. Antonio
McMillion led Maryland-Eastern Shore (1-6) with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Jesse Brooks was the only other Hawk to register double figures in points,

Tucson, AZ (Sports Network) – Mustafa Shakur scored 17 points and pulled down
six rebounds to lead the No. 10 Arizona Wildcats over the Houston Cougars
87-62. Ivan Radenovic scored 16 and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Wildcats.
Marcus Williams scored 15 and grabbed 12 boards for Arizona (8-1), which
won its eighth straight game after losing its opener to Virginia. Robert
McKiver led Houston (4-3) with 13 points and five boards.

Corvallis, OR (Sports Network) – Glen Davis had 22 points and 13 rebounds
to lead the 12th-ranked LSU Tigers past the Oregon State Beavers, 60-53.
Garrett Temple added 17 points for the Tigers (6-2), who responded after
dropping a 76-75 game to Texas in overtime earlier in the week. Tasmin
Mitchell netted 11 points with six rebounds in the win. Josh Tarver had 13
points and Marcel Jones added 12 with seven rebounds for the Beavers (6-5),
who lost for just the second time in six games after a 2-3 start.

Hartford, CT (Sports Network) – Jerome Dyson netted 19 and pulled down five
rebounds to lead the 14th-ranked Connecticut Huskies to an 89-73 win over St.
Mary’s at the Hartford Civic Center. Jeff Adrien added 15 points and eight
rebounds while Hasheem Thabeet chipped in nine points, six boards and three
blocks for the Huskies (9-0), who connected on 52 percent of their shots from
the field. Tron Smith scored 15 points and Omar Samhan donated 13 points and
grabbed 10 rebounds for St. Mary’s (6-6), which shot a paltry 37 percent from
the floor. Diamon Simpson had 11 points and six boards in the loss.

Eugene, OR (Sports Network) – Malik Hairston had 21 points and 12 rebounds to
lead 22nd-ranked Oregon over Idaho State 84-55 at McArthur Court. Aaron Brooks
added 18 points and Bryce Taylor had 14 points and seven rebounds for the
Ducks (10-0), who are off to their best start since beginning the 1996-97
campaign with 10 straight wins. Akbar Abdul-Ahad had 15 points to lead
Bengals (4-6), who had a two-game win streak halted.
