Snowstorm causes postponements

Greeley, CO (Sports Network) – Postponements continue to pile up due to a
blizzard that dumped more than two feet of snow in most of Colorado.

The storm is responsible for the postponement of Saturday’s basketball game
between 24th-ranked Air Force and Northern Colorado. No makeup date has been
scheduled for the game, which was to have taken place at the Butler-Hancock
Sports Pavilion.

Air Force, which is 11-1 this season, resumes play next Thursday at the Cable
Car Classic at Santa Clara University. The Falcons will play George Washington
in the first round. The Bears will return to action also next Thursday when
they host their first-ever Big Sky Conference game against Weber State.

Also postponed was Friday’s game between Colorado State and Boise State. The
Rams were unable to travel to Boise due to the winter storm, and a makeup date
will be announced in the future.
