Law guides Aggies past Colorado

Boulder, CO (Sports Network) – Acie Law poured in 21 points as eighth-ranked
Texas A&M pulled away in the second half to beat Colorado, 87-69, in Big 12

Josh Carter scored 19 points and Joseph Jones added 18 and a career-high 15
rebounds for the Aggies (15-2, 3-0 Big 12), who extended their winning streak
to eight games.

Dominique Coleman scored 17 points and grabbed 13 boards for the Buffaloes
(4-9, 0-3), who have dropped five of their last six.

Holding a slim 57-56 lead with just over nine minutes left in the second half,
Texas A&M blew the game open with a 19-3 run to take a 76-59 lead with just
three minutes left in the game. Carter’s back-to-back three’s capped the run
as Colorado did not threaten down the stretch.

Colorado held a surprising lead for most of the first half before the Aggies
ripped off 15 straight points to take a 42-36 lead into the locker room.

Game Notes

Jermyl Jackson-Wilson scored 13 points for the Buffaloes…Despite the loss,
Colorado still owns a 9-5 lead in the all-time series with Texas A&M. The
Aggies, though, have won the last four meetings.
