free throws in the final minute, as fifth-ranked UCLA rallied from a 10-point
deficit in the second half to beat Arizona State, 67-61, at Wells Fargo Arena.
Darren Collison had 18 points and Lorenzo Mata 10 for the Bruins (22-3, 11-2
Pac-10), who won for the eighth time in 10 games and now make the trip to
Tucson to face No. 19 Arizona on Saturday. Jeff Pendergraph had 14 points for
Arizona State (6-19, 0-14), which has lost 15 in a row, extending the longest
skid in school history. Allen Morill added 11 points and Jerren Shipp, the
younger brother of UCLA’s Josh Shipp, scored 10 for the Sun Devils.

Golden Bears held on for a 63-61 win over the 15th-ranked Oregon Ducks.

snapped a six-game skid. Omar Wilkes scored 10 points for the Golden Bears,
and Ayinde Ubaka grabbed 12 boards to go with his six points. Tajuan Porter
scored 14 points, and Aaron Brooks added 12 points and seven rebounds for
Oregon (20-6, 8-6), which has lost four of five. Bryce Taylor had 11 points

as the 22nd-ranked USC Trojans got their first win in Tucson since 1985 by
downing the 19th-ranked Arizona Wildcats, 80-75, in a battle of Pac-10
Conference heavyweights from the McKale Center. Lodrick Stewart also scored
26 points for USC (19-7, 9-4 Pac-10). That setback halted a three-game
winning streak for the Trojans. Gabriel Pruitt added 17 points. Chase
Budinger scored 19 points for Arizona (17-8, 8-6), which had a three-game
winning streak snapped. Mustafa Shakur scored 16 points, Ivan Radenovic 11,
and Marcus Williams added 10 points.

West Lafayette, IN (Sports Network) – David Teague had a career-high 32
points, including 6-of-8 from long distance, and grabbed seven rebounds, as
the Purdue Boilermakers bested the 24th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers, 81-68, in the
190th meeting between the intrastate rivals at Mackey Arena. The game was
supposed to take place on Wednesday, but inclement weather pushed the game
back a day. Carl Landry added 22 points and 11 boards while Tarrance Crump
netted 13 for the Boilermakers (17-9, 6-6 Big Ten), who have won three of
their last four contests. D.J. White poured in 20 points and grabbed eight
rebounds and Armon Bassett donated 16 for the Hoosiers (17-7, 7-4), who
have lost two of their last three games. Roderick Wilmont scored 15 in the
setback.
