games. Ivan Harris donated 14 in the win. Ohio State looks to take over the
No. 1 spot in the polls after Florida had its 17-game winning streak come to
an end at Vanderbilt on Saturday. Lawrence McKenzie poured in 22 points and
Lawrence Westbrook scored 11 for the Golden Gophers (9-18, 3-10), who have
lost five in a row.

end, as Arizona State recorded its first Pac-10 win of the season, 68-58, over
22nd-ranked Southern California. Derek Glasser added 14 points for Arizona
State (7-19, 1-14 Pac-10), which snapped it’s school-record 15-game losing
streak with the win. The Sun Devils also avoided becoming the first team to go
winless in Pac-10 history. No team has gone a season without a conference win
since the league expanded in 1978-79. Jerren Shipp scored 10 points for the
Sun Devils. Gabe Pruitt scored 22 points and grabbed eight boards, and
Lodrick Stewart added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Trojans (19-8,
9-5), who have lost two of three. Nick Young scored 11 points, and Taj
Gibson pulled down 10 boards for USC.
