North Texas claims SBC title
Lafayette, LA (Sports Network) – Calvin Watson scored 24 points — including
six three-pointers — to lead North Texas to its first-ever Sun Belt
Conference Tournament title with an 83-75 win over Arkansas State at the
Rich Young added 15 points and Quincy Williams had 12 points and seven boards
for the Mean Green (23-10), who were the surprise winners after entering the
