Nevada gives Fox three-year extension

Reno, NV (Sports Network) – The University of Nevada announced on Friday that
men’s head basketball coach Mark Fox has received a three-year extension on
his contract that now runs through the 2013-14 season.

Fox has led the Wolf Pack to an 81-18 record over his three years as Nevada’s
head coach. During that time he’s guided the school to three consecutive WAC

Fox’s contract calls for a base salary of $400,000 with extra compensation of
$100,000 per year.

The Wolf Pack beat Creighton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this
year before losing to Memphis in the next round. Nevada finished the 2006-07
season with a 29-5 record.
