Oklahoma's Bookout to undergo surgery

Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Oklahoma starting forward Kevin Bookout will
undergo surgery on his right shoulder next week and is expected to be
sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Bookout severely sprained the shoulder during a practice in October and has been bothered by the discomfort all season. In 13 games this season, he has averaged 7.6 points and 5.5 assists per contest. Oklahoma began the season with 10 straight wins, but has since dropped four in a row. The Sooners are hosting Kansas State on Saturday. OKLAHOMA |
