Storrs, CT (Sports Network) - Andre LaFleur, who spent the past three seasons as the director of basketball operations at Connecticut, has been named a men's basketball assistant coach at the school.

LaFleur, who played for Connecticut head coach Jim Calhoun at Northeastern, replaces Clyde Vaughan. Vaughan resigned after being arrested on August 18 for soliciting a prostitute.

The Huskies' 2004 championship season was Vaughan's second with the program after stints as an assistant at Long Beach State and South Florida.
