Fort Collins, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado State basketball team will be without its starting point guard indefinitely, as Dwight Boatner has left the team due to personal reasons.

"There are several issues that Dwight is trying to deal with personally," said head coach Dale Layer. "He felt it was in his best interest to step away from basketball."

Boatner, a sophomore, started 10 contests this season and averaged 8.1 points per game for the Rams, who currently own an 8-6 overall record, but dropped their Mountain West Conference opener to Air Force on Saturday.
