Govens to undergo surgery for Hawks

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Saint Joseph's University freshman
guard Darrin Govens will undergo surgery on Friday to repair a fracture in the
fourth metacarpal of his right hand.
Govens suffered the injury in the Hawks' first game of the season after falling on his hand in the first half of Saint Joseph's 63-47 victory over Fairfield. He finished with no points in 12 minutes of action. Govens will begin rehabilitation right after surgery and will be evaluated on a weekly basis. |
