Another day, another story for Kobe Bryant … On Sunday evening, Bryant denied demanding that Jerry West return as Lakers’ GM … He also clarified his future with the purple-and-gold … Click here to read what Kobe Bean had to say …

On Monday, Kobe Bryant denied telling ESPN reporter Rich Bucher he would request a trade if Jerry West wasn’t rehired as the Lakers’ GM.

Apparently, Bryant was only making a suggestion when he said that West should return to Los Angeles’ front office.

"I’m not demanding anything," the star guard explained to Riverside Press-Enterprise on Sunday evening. "I’m not making any threats. I didn’t say that. Those words didn’t come out of my mouth about a trade. I’m just making a suggestion. I think Jerry West is one of the greatest to ever do this thing. It’s undeniably so."

Bryant also confirmed that he wants to finish his career in Los Angeles with the purple-and-gold.

“I love being a Laker,” Bryant said. “I want to retire a Laker. I want to fix this thing, or at least help any way I can.”
