We spend all day debating the choices NBA GMs make. In fact, most of us think we can do things better than the incompetent suit running things for our favorite team.

Wednesday GM gives you the opportunity to make personnel decisions on some of the latest and biggest happenings in the NBA. In short, you replace the hack you hate sitting in the front office.

So settle into your new gig as GM and tell us what you would do in the comment box below.

Decision 1: Amare Stoudemire or Al Jefferson?

NBA GM: Kevin McHale, Timberwolves.

The Details: There’s an argument McHale should have tried to trade to Phoenix for Amare Stoudemire instead of settling for Boston’s Al Jefferson. Stoudemire is an established star, while Jefferson has only had one good season.

The Call: Would you have pushed harder for Stoudemire?

Decision 2: Smush Parker or Jason Williams?

NBA GM: Pat Riley, .

The Details: Parker signed with Miami last week and then publicly announced that he wants to start at point guard next season. , last year’s first string lead-guard, will have something to say about that. Pretend you’re Pat Riley. Stroke back that greased hair, stretch out in that ten thousand dollar suit, and decide if you go with Parker’s size and scoring over Williams’ play-making.

The Call: What’s tastier: Smush or White Chocolate?

Decision 3: Vince Carter or Richard Jefferson?

NBA GM: Rod Thorn, .

The Details: The Nets, after re-signing to a 60 million dollar extension this summer, tried to deal Jefferson to the Pacers. New Jersey essentially picked Carter’s scoring over ’s all-round game.

The Call: What initials do you prefer: V.C. or R.J.?

What would you do as GM? Let us know in the comment box below.
