Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James, Like Michael Jordan, Will Do Fine On Saturday Night Live

Many NBA players have tried acting. Some, like Rick Fox, are natural thespians, while others, who will remain nameless, should have just stuck to hoops.

Tonight, LeBron James will host Saturday Night Live. The jury is out on how he will do. I think he’ll be fine. Here’s why:

First, James has natural talent. His Nike ads were pretty decent. And he did a great job of hosting the ESPY awards. Check him out as Bobby Brown …

Second, the producers of Saturday Night Live aren’t stupid. They’ll give the King some easy roles, so he can succeed. Basically, he’ll play himself. Just like Michael Jordan did when he hosted back in the day …

Finally, there’s an argument that James lacks star quality. I disagree. The King was just a teenager when he entered the NBA. His former agents, the Goodwin brothers, felt it was best to shield him from the media. Now, as a young adult, James is ready for more of the spotlight and will develop into a great ambassador for the NBA.

How will James do as host of Saturday Night Live? Get at us in the comment box below with your thoughts.
