You Decide The NBA's All-Time Clutch Player: Kobe Bryant, Robert Horry, Or Michael Jordan

A closer is a great thing for an NBA team to have. Every franchise wants one player who can sink a clutch basket to win games. But closers are scarce. And its news whenever one becomes available.

Kobe Bryant
is a great closer. His status with the Lakers has made headlines all summer. And, according to Lakers’ owner Jerry Buss, he’s available.

But Bryant’s not the closer I’m referring to. Yesterday, Robert Horry mentioned he was interested in signing with the Dallas Mavericks after his contract with the San Antonio Spurs expires in July.

"I thought about that," Horry said. "That would be good. I’d come up here next year, give you a good two years, win a championship here and call it quits." (Dallas/Fort Worth.com)

These comments are interesting for a couple reasons. First, Dallas seems like they’re one player away from winning an NBA Title. Would Robert Horry put them over the top? Second, big shot Bob’s status as one of basketball’s premier closers started a debate amongst my friends. Who would you choose to take a last second, game winning-shot: Kobe Bryant, Robert Horry, or Michael Jordan?
