NBA Schedule for
November 12th, 2007

  • New Orleans @ New Jersey
  • Cleveland @ Denver
  • Sacramento @ Utah

Our pick as ’Must-See’ game: Cleveland @ Denver.

Why: Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson and LeBron James are three of the game’s most exciting players. Their on-court antics cause fans to spring off their lazy boys and knock over the nachos and beer on the coffee table. The lesson: ’Melo, The Answer, and King James are good to watch, but bad for the living room carpet.

Both squads are moving in the right direction. Early on, Cleveland was out of sync and seemed to be suffering from an NBA Finals hangover. Well, Sacramento and L.A. provided a remedy for their woes. The Cavs have rattled off two impressive road wins against the Kings and Clippers.

As always, James is The Man. Through seven regular season games, the superstar is averaging an Oscar Robertson-like 27 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds.

Denver responded from their own early season adversity by registering back-to-back victories against Washington and Indiana over the weekend. Their two most recent wins have featured strong contributions from reserves Linas Kleiza and Eduardo Najera. This duo, along with J.R. Smith, gives Coach George Karl some nice bench options.
