When NBA Coaches Snap, Featuring: Stan Van Gundy, Avery Johnson, Mike D'Antoni, Phil Jackson & George KarlStan Van Gundy is easy to like. The honest sideline boss had every right to slag Pat Riley after his former mentor replaced him on the Heat bench two seasons ago.

But he kept quiet, collected his salary, and waited for his next opportunity. Last summer, Orlando, after getting ditched by Florida’s Billy Donovan, hired Van Gundy to lead their young stars and add credibility to the franchise.

2) Mike D’Antoni-Phil Jackson,  Suns-Lakers:The timeout’.

3) George Karl on Isiah Thomas: ‘He’s a total bleep‘.
