The circus made an unexpected visit to Staples Center on Sunday night, courtesy of the great Kobe Bryant.

By now, you’ve seen the highlight of Bryant receiving the ball on the block, attempting to draw a foul by pivoting to the baseline, and, after not getting the whistle from the referees, being forced to shoot from behind the backboard.

During the 1980s, Larry Bird became ‘The Legend’. He earned this moniker by winning MVP awards, three-point shooting contests, NBA championships, and, along the way, talking more trash than your grandpa and his friends on a Saturday afternoon at the barber shop.
