Attention! Attention! I have an announcement to make. To lighten up on the seriousness from basketball, there is this girl who is passionate about the New York Knicks. I noticed through the years when a team is winning, there’s not much material to joke around about. When a team is really shitty then there is an entire slew of stuff that could be comedy gold. Before I introduce the girl floating around YouTube as the Knicks Chick, let this be known that Knicks fans are extremely knowledgeable about the game. Even though the team is still scrubby, even with the addition of Tracy McGrady and Danilo Gallinari doing his best Darko impression, New York maintains its’ stance as the Mecca of basketball. This is a bold position to take with the team performing like trash for the past 7 years or so. Don’t claim yourself as the Mecca until the team proves itself to be a playoff team again. Until then all you really have is The Cock, Eddy Curry, and the Knicks Chick.
The female in question is known as Merija Kero. The Baron Davis picture above has nothing to do with her. Let it be known to fear the beard. More on that later. Anyway.... Amber Lamps is a mysterious meme. She’s just a girl with headphones on a bus. HoopsVibe and Flagrant Foul will make Miss Kero more known if she isn’t already. What’s so fascinating about Marija Kero? Think about it. NBA basketball is dominated by guys. People arguing back and forth about players usually involve men. Here’s a girl who doesn’t shy away from criticism. Oh she’s hot? Well, think about that, too. Here is her video going all in on Jared Jeffries before he got traded to the Houston Rockets. Gentlemen, she’s also a model and has her own blog. Someone really despises Jared Jeffries. I can’t blame her. I used to watch dude when he was on the Wizards. He’s freakin’ useless. We’ll move on to another losing team, the Los Angeles Clippers. Thanks to BoomsBeard, Baron Davis has acknowledged the mystical magical powers within his beard. He released an infomercial starring him and Deron Williams. When watching the video, I had to question which one has the better beard. Baron has the scruffy all out afro –like beard while D-Wills has the neat business trimmed beard. To squash the debate, all I had to do was to look at the stats and wins of each squad. It’s obvious that Deron got this. He also made his first All Star appearance with the beard. I also like to note that NFL players have this trend of long dreadlocks; the chance of the player being awesome increases when one rocks it. The same can be applied to the beard. Dreadlocks on an NBA player do not work. Just ask Mickael Gelabale. You don't know who he is, huh?
