The Sam Bowie whispers are growing louder as we speak.
Greg Oden is done for the season after an MRI revealed a fractured left patella. While the immediate concerns are for the Blazers and how they will cope with yet another injury, one has to wonder how Oden will handle this. This isn’t the same knee that caused him to miss his entire rookie year, but a second season-ender will call his durability into question. It will also make some Portland fans wish that they had drafted Kevin Durant.
