Parker out of World Championships with broken finger

Sendai, Japan (Basketball News) - France point guard Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs was ruled out of the FIBA World Championships with a broken finger.

Parker suffered the injury to his index finger on his shooting hand after getting it caught in the jersey of an opponent during France’s warm-up game against Brazil.

"It really is very disappointing and tough to swallow because I felt in great shape before I got hurt against Brazil," said Parker.
