Air Jordan PHYL - White/Cement, Black/Cement

-
Model : Air Jordan PHYL (White/Cement, Black/Cement)
Release Date : March 15th
Price : $85
Though the sneaker is based on the "Fly High" samples you may have seen on Michael Jordan's feet when he took to the practice court with the Bobcats a while back, this Air Jordan III-inspired model looks like a brand-new shoe. Still, it shares the classic silhouette, with the almost convex instep that characterised such sneakers as the Nike Sweet Lew Mid, which itself was inspired by the early Converses.
With a reasonable price tag and the basic aesthetic of what many consider the best-looking Air Jordan in the line, there's no question that the PHYL (which, incidentally, takes its name from the initials of Clifton "Pop" Herring, Mike's high school coach) is going to be a hit with sneakerheads.

Air Jordan Spiz'ike (Cool Grey)

Model : Air Jordan Spiz'ike (Cool Grey)
Release Date : ?
Price : $?
While the previous Spiz'ike models were generally well received, fans have been crying out for a more muted colourway, and from these shots it looks as if Nike has been paying attention. With the same mutant hybrid appearance of its brothers but an understated colour scheme and, for the first time in the series, a translucent sole, this has the makings of a very popular shoe. No word on the release date or price as yet, but check back with HoopsVibe and we'll keep you updated as the information comes in.

Air Jordan CP Chris Paul - University Blue

Model : Air Jordan CP Chris Paul -
After a couple of questionable releases, the folks at Brand Jordan have hit a home run with these UNC-inspired CP colourways. While you'll likely never see them on the should-have-been-MVP's feet, they should be a common sight on the streets in the coming weeks. Use the links above to find your size and stay ahead of the game.

Air Jordan XV SE - Bragging Rights

-
Model : Air Jordan XV SE -
Although the XV split public opinion with its "spaceship" look, this new "Bragging Rights" edition should win a few more fans. With just two colourways currently available - one representing Mike's alma mater, UNC, and the other a nod to the team they beat in the NCAA finals, Georgetown - it's not the full-range release we'd anticipated, but you can expect more to come along soon.

Air Jordan Jeter Clutch

-
Model : Air Jordan Jeter Clutch
Release Date : May 10th 2008
Price : $100
Word came out last October that the Brand Jordan designers were hard at work on a sneaker for Jeter, and in just a few weeks we'll finally be able to get our hands on it. With an aerial view of Yankee Stadium, the team's trademark pinstripes and the years in which the all, these won't make as much of a dent in your bank account as most Jordans.

Nike Air Jordan II (2) and XXI (21) Countdown Pack

Model : Nike Air Jordan II (2) and XXI (21) Countdown Pack
Release Date : Officially April 26th 2008, but already available online
Price : $310 - Buy it here
While folks may not be too excited about the XXI retro (the original did, after all, drop only a few years ago), the inclusion of the II in this Countdown Pack will guarantee that it sells out within a couple of hours of hitting the shelves. Since I don't plan on standing in line at six in the morning to get my hands on the sneakers, I've already ordered mine on eBay . You can expect to find my pair of XXIs right back up there as soon as the package arrives, but the II will be taking pride of place in my collection.

Air Jordan Retro IV (4) Black / Cement Grey - Fire Red
- (4 images)
-
Model : Air Jordan Retro 4 (IV) Black / Cement Grey
Price : ? (Find it Now on eBay)
Other : Released as part of Countdown Pack also containing the XIX.
It might just be my imagination, but something about this sneaker just doesn't look right. In fact, if I copped a pair online and received the shoe pictured below, I'd think I'd been duped with a knock-off. Still, even if it does look like a clumsy imitation of the original IV, it's close enough to capture the original's charm, and that should be good enough for most fans. Expect these to hit stores in July packaged with the XIX (another personal favourite) for something approaching three hundred bucks.

Air Jordan XX3 (23) (White/Stealth Black/Metallic Gold)

-
Model : Air Jordan XX3 (23) (White/Stealth Black/Metallic Gold)
Release Date : April 5th
Price : $185 , you'll have to forgive me if I think it's a little steep for a sneaker. Still, if footwear is your fetish and you've got the cash, you could do worse than spend it on this shoe, the twenty-third release in the Air Jordan series. While the grey may not be to everyone's taste, the use of the overlapping gold autographs on the toecap is one of many small touches that go some way to justifying the astronomical cost.

Model : Air Jordan III (3) Black/Cement Grey/Varsity Red
Release Date : October 2008
Price : $100 - Buy it here
Set to be released later this year as part of a Countdown pack with the XX (in a brand-new black suede colourway), this is the shoe the people have been anticipating. Really, what can I say about the III that hasn't already been said about Salma Hayek? Like everyone's favourite package of beauty and booty, it's a visual masterpiece that only looks better as the years go by. While it's a little more attainable than a date with Ms. Hayek, it probably won't cost a whole lot less if previous Countdown pack prices are anything to go by. Still, with six months until they drop, you've got time to fill your piggy bank in anticipation of the release.

Air Jordan '87 Classic (III Edition)
- (4 images)
-
Model : Air Jordan '87 Classic (III Edition)
Release Date : Already out
Price : $105
Once again the designers have lazily rehashed an Air Jordan shoe in the belief that anything making reference to a classic will bear some of the original's charm. That's evidently not so in this case as the result is a chunky, mismatched mess of a sneaker spattered with features from both the II and III, but without the appeal of either. If you've recently earned $105 through illicit means, you might want to punish yourself by spending it on a pair of these. Otherwise, you'd be better off saving your money.
