The D Rose 3.5 features a bold spiral overlay pattern and the synthetic leather upper features the spiral protruding from the D Rose logo on the ankle to represent how his on and off-court success continues to grow from the support of his family, who inspired the logo. Chicago call-outs on the inside of the tongue showcase the essence of Rose, including a “Rooted in Chicago” graphic with lettering, colors and shapes inspired by his tattoos and the Chicago flag. The oversized tongue features a reflective overlay of the logo to illuminate and pop on and off the court.

The XX8s are already generating controversy for their unique look. From the outside they look like a black sleeve that is zippled up. This has been compared to a boring black rain shoe. On the inside though, they are a bold neon green.

The shoe was designed over the last two years by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield and will make their NBA debut with Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

The XX8's retail for a solid $250, so bring your loot if you're planning on grabbing a pair. These bad boys might be controversial, but they're certainly not cheap. Some have claimed they are clunky or boring looking on the outside and that the outer black sleeve hides the most interesting part of the shoe. Others contend they are based on the idea of "casual style" and allow the individual to decide how flashy they want to be in any given situation. 

Bryant drew quite a crowd this past Saturday, when over 5,000 people gathered on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, California to attend a launch event for Kobe's new shoe.  Those who attended were invited to try the shoes on and maneuver through an obstacle course designed to highlight the performance of the cutting edge Nike Kobe 8 System.  The top four performers in the course for both boys and girls then competed against each other for a pair of signed shoes, presented by the man himself.

At a weight of 9.6 ounces, the Kobe VIII becomes the lightest shoe in Nike's history; (last year's Kobe shoe weighed 13 ounces) and it features an engineered mesh upper (which will allow for a variety of unique colorways), Lunarlon midsole, and the tried and true herringbone rubber outsole - all of these elements contribute to the shoe's light feel, durability, optimal traction and cushioning.

Derrick Rose launches the new D Rose 3s. These hit stores worldwide Oct 4th and are going for $160 a pop. These are some seriously sweet kicks that currently come in two colorways. The black with red highlights are the DRose signature look and are sure to be everywhere on the blacktops by Halloween.

The London Olympics inspired this pink and blue pair of Air Flight 89s. These shoes feature a blue upper, while the body of the sneakers if highlighted in Fireberry Pink lace panel. It also features an Air Sole Unit for style as well as comfort.

Sneaker Con in Washington D.C. is a great place to either find that pair of hard-to-get kicks you've been searching for or make some quick cash unloading some kicks you've been hiding away in your closet. This is one of the most anticipated shoe conferences all year and it definitely did not let us down. Everyone came out to rep their coolest kicks, so check out some of the highlights.

Jeremy Scott's posthumous creations are still some of the hottest kicks out there. The metallic gold/black colorway, wings, and special lace up heeltabl continue to set trends.

This mashup is called the "Freddy Krueger." This is the classic Air Max 90 runner outfitted in a "Freddy Kruger" custom design by Kike-Roni. The "Freddy Krueger" features numerous characteristics from the classic horror film including burnt skin and the the blood splattering. These aren't going to be for everyone, but if you're into horror films and sneakers, this is the pair of kicks you've been waiting for all those years. 

The new Air Force 1 Digi-Camo will be available starting today, June 24th, 2012 at select Nike Sportswear retailers. These feature the digital camouflage dressed with white and grey color blocking and go for $175.

The new Nike Lunar Hyperdunk in the University Gold / University Red colorway will be hitting stores June 29th. The Lunarion cushioning and exposed Flywire show this model should perform well on the courts and the vibrant colors and options in colorways prove they'll be stylish too. The Lunar Hyperdunks will retail for $140.

In the NBA Final LeBron James debuted a new colorway of his signature sneaker. This kick was made specifically for LeBron for the NBA Finals.    Mache reportedly as already created an identical custom design based on the white colorway of the Elite model that is an exact replica of LBJ's Final's kicks. Mache only made 6 pairs, so you can look, but you can't buy ... yet.

Nike Air Yeezy 2's are now leaked. This model features premium materials and generous Egyptian culture swag. Colorways on the way later this summer, but expect for them to out distance Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxys as the hot sneaker to have this summer.
