Kris Humphries Fires Back at Kanye West on Twitter
A few months ago, Kanye, who is currently dating Humphries' ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, dropped the hit single "Way Too Cold" and dissed Kris on the track. In the song, Yeezy raps, "And I'll admit, I had fell in love with Kim / around the same time she had fell in love with him / Well that's cool, baby girl, do ya thing / Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team." First off, West is essentially admitting to have been scheming on Kris' woman. Furthermore, he alludes to the fact that he could have had his friend, Jay-Z, who is part owner of the team Humphries plays for (The Nets), cut him from the squad. (Humphries was tied for 5th in the entire league last year in rebounds per game with 11. He also averaged almost 14 points per game so realistically, Humphries' chances of getting cut were probably slim to begin with.) Regardless, this guy Kanye had some balls throwing around these fightin' words! And if it ever came down to a fight, I'm pretty sure the 6'9" Humphries would have no problem wiping the floor with the 5'8" Kanye. But then again, Kanye seems pretty crazy so I guess you never know. Celebrity MMA anyone??? As if the lyrics on Kanye's track weren't enough, Kanye fired off this tweet last week. "73 Days With Kim. Sorry Kris" which alludes to the fact that he had been with Kim while she was still married to Humphries. Another shot from the self-proclaimed "self-conscious" rapper. But yesterday, after signing a two-year deal worth a reported $24 million with the Brooklyn Nets, Mr. Humphries tweeted some trash talk of his own. "I'm up at Brooklyn! @S_C_'lucky I didn't have Jay drop me from the team' lol!" Humphries tweeted. I'm sure that felt pretty good after signing a multi-million dollar contract with the very team Kanye said he could get him cut from. Kanye has yet to reply to Kris' tweet but being that West is never at a loss for words, I wouldn't be surprised if the sh*t talk continues. I can't wait for the upcoming NBA season when Humphries is playing in a game with his ex-wife, his sworn enemy, and his boss sitting courtside. TMZ said it best: "Sounds like a perfectly healthy work environment."
