Shaq helps police arrest hit-and-run driver

The Miami Heat big man who is also a reserve officer with the Miami Beach Police Department, helped arrest a hit-and-run driver early Sunday January 28, 2007.  O'Neal followed a driver who allegedly crashed into his Cadillac Escalade and tried to flee the scene. Shaq and his bodyguard followed the driver for about five minutes. When the driver stopped near a gas station, O'Neal approached the car and summoned a nearby police officer. |
