After receiving an an apology ring for Kobe Bryant's transgressions valued at over $4 million, it's no wonder the first lady of the Lakers developed a taste for expensive jewelry. When Vanessa Bryant visited the home of the first lady of the United States, then, she had to break out something a little special. That came in the form of a Rolex Oyster watch costing over $51,000. That may sound a little pricey initially, but you can't overpay for luxury, right?
Apparently, you can. Not only is the leopard-spotted monstrosity worth more than a Detroit city block, it's also a men's watch. That's right: the jewel-encrusted chunk of crap on Vanessa Bryant's arm during the Lakers' recent trip to the White House was, in fact, designed to rest on a man's wrist, presumably to scare off any potential females. As a lady friend of mine pointed out, however, it would go quite nicely with a cane, a pair of gator-skin shoes and a toothless woman named Cinnamon. She might as well have rolled up to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with a pimp chalice and a Cadillac. Instead, she rounded out her outfit with a lurid pink nail job and a camera worth less than that blouse. |
