The nation’s best high school teams will compete again for this year’s AND 1 High School Basketball Championship. Many of the nation’s elite high school basketball programs will participate. Past winners include St. Patricks (NJ) in ’02, St. Anthony’s (NJ) took the crown in ’03 and now the defending champions are the wildcats of Dunwoody (GA). The AND 1 High School Basketball Championship is the country’s premiere high school basketball event, allowing every high school the opportunity to be crowned champions.
Featuring the best high school basketball teams around the country, players will compete in 10 preliminary tournaments across the nation for a chance to play in the AND 1 High School Basketball Championship, in partnership with The Hoop Group (www.hoopgroup.com).
Prelims: Weekends, May 21-22; June 10-12 & 17-19;
Finals: Weekend of June 23-26
May 21-22: SOUTHWEST: Waco, TX @ Baylor University
June 10-12: WEST I: Los Angeles area (various area high schools),WEST II: Seattle, WA @ Seattle University
June 11-12: NORTHEAST: Boston, MA @ Tufts University, EAST II: Washington, D.C. @ Catholic University, SOUTHEAST II: Orlando, FL @ Champions Sports Complex
June 17-18: MIDWEST II: Sterling, IL @ Westwood Sports & Expo Complex
June 18-19: EAST I: South Orange, NJ @ Seton Hall U., MIDWEST I: Columbus, OH @ Ohio Wesleyan Univ., SOUTHEAST I: Atlanta, GA @ Suwanee Sports Academy
June 23-26: Winners from each preliminary will play in championship games at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. The final game will be broadcast live on College Sports Television (CSTV).
