Draft Outlook: Kevin Love

June 24 08
This is a special feature from guest blogger Christopher Sells.

By now, you’ve heard enough about Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley to make you feel like you’ve been watching them for a long time. If you’ve missed out, check here for John Nguyen’s piece on who should go one and who should go two. We’ll be shining some light on some of the draft’s other notable names in the next couple of days.

Kevin Love 6’9" 255 PF/C UCLA
07-08 Stats: 17.5 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 1.4 bpg, 55.9 FG%

Love has slowly made his way up the draft boards, from the late teens to as high as three in the eyes of some. While you’ll hear about his outlet passing abilities the most, Love also as good hands, is a good rebounder, and plays very well out of the high post. His conditioning, lack of athleticism and questionable speed and quickness are the things that may drop him out of the top half of the lottery. Some wonder if his game is more suited for college, as many of the big men he’ll face in the league will possess superior physical abilities than he.

My name is Marcus Elijah yea two first names lol but all jokes aside to Tracy McGrady is do u wanna win a ring? I’m from california, I love the Phoenix Suns but lets face it, Shaq & Nash need u just as much as u need them. Kobe is the best one on one player in the league due T-Mac not going all out like he used to when playing in Orlando. Kobe’s game is based off trying to be MJ but T-Mac game is based off of T-Mac which is why I used to respect T-Mac more. However, there is a guy named Vince Carter who has talent as well & should be mentioned in the same breath as Kobe but doesn’t go all out every game like he did once upon a time in Toronto. So please don’t let this be a, "it runs in the family type of thing," T-Mac. So the big question is do u Tracy McGrady want to experience winning a championship in the NBA? Why not ask for a trade including Shane Battier to the Phoenix Suns for Hill, Barbosa & Diaw? Why not return to the man who played like he was possessed, when he played for Orlando? Tracy needs a fresh start yet again, cause lets face it, the Yao & McGrady experience has felled. You match a star guard/forward with Shaq & a trip to the NBA finals is automatic! You’ve been questioned in Houston but you’ll give answers in Phoenix! .
