How L.A.’s Ron Artest is spending his off-season

NBA players spend their off-seasons differently.

Some train religiously. Some, like former Vancouver Grizzly Bryant Reeves, train strictly in the consumption of food and excess. Some get their reality T.V. on. And some get into trouble.

Then there’s Ron Artest. The newest member of the world champion Los Angeles Lakers spent part of this summer abroad in China promoting his musical career. Of course, Ron-Ron, when with Indiana, once asked for time off during the season to push his debut rap album.
