Out ’Must-See’ game: Milwaukee @Houston.

Why: For us, the Bucks and Rockets is another interesting game. For China, this is the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, and World Series rolled into one. After all, Yao Ming is playing Yi Jianlian, China’s biggest basketball star against the country’s up-and-coming rookie.

More than 200 million Chinese viewers are expected to watch, which explains why Commissioner Stern has been busting into 50 cent’s ’I get money’ around the league office in New York the last few days. Clearly, the NBA is licking their chops at the lucrative Chinese and Indian market.
The numbers are just extraordinary," said Heidi Ueberroth, the league’s president of global marketing partnerships and international business operations. "It’s very significant. It’s showing how much the globalization of the league is on the rise."
Forget business, the game is worth watching. Yi and the Bucks are coming off a huge win against the Raptors on Wednesday night, while Yao and the Rockets look like an emerging power in the Western Conference.

Who do you prefer: Yi or Yao? Get at us in the comment box below with your thoughts.

I love Yi’s game. With better strength and conditioning, he can have a solid game. I think his basketball understand is there. The basics like passing out of a double team and a couple of drive-and-dish moves, he can be the complete player who can complement a superstar 2 like a Dwayne Wade, Arenas, Kobe, etc. However, Yao is better and if this preference question is about a pick, then Yao is easier and better to build around. .
