Watch Robert Horry’s Body-Check On Phoenix’s Steve Nash & Nash’s Post-Game Reaction

May 15 07
Game four between Phoenix and San Antonio was overshadowed by Spurs forward Robert Horry  body-checking Suns guard Steve Nash into the scorer’s table.

This end-of-game foul led to a brief skirmish. After things had settled down, Horry was ejected and another Sun, Raja Bell, was hit with a technical foul.

This NHL-style hit is currently being discussed around office water-coolers and debated by NBA fans on sports radio. Game five is scheduled for Wednesday and will surely be a heated affair.

Being the commisioner of NBA is a hard job. Please do not talk any bulls---and judge others. If you were him, you could be any better? I doubt it.. so shut up!!!! .

Steve Nash should be suspended for claiming his plans to throw down on Big Shot Bob. I liked it; the Suns get away with so much bullsh*t all the time that it’s about time Nash got his piece of the pie. Watching the vengence in his eyes I’d say Big Shot Bob was taking notes from Raja. .

I think that it is disgraceful to taint the image so many have worked so hard for over the years. These are adults; not babies. I am tired of playing basketball and getting fights picked with me. This is a direct result of this "thug appeal" image in the NBA. One of these days someone is going to be seriously injured. Its a pain to have to worry about getting in a fight while all you are trying to do is put a stupid orange ball in a hole! What is wrong with these people? Its a game....thats it. So next time you decide to pick a fight with someone make sure it isn’t me. I am a trained kickboxer/brazilian jiujitsu fighter that happens to love basketball. So seriously no pushes from behind you might be messing with the wrong guy.Peace .

Right. David Stern is on "the take" from the Spurs, because the NBA would rather see the Spurs than Suns in the Finals. That’s also why the Suns shot 15 more free throws in a game in which the Spurs outplayed them for 40-42 out of 48 minutes. .

David Stern should be replace with a monkey. The monkey would have more knowledge about basketball. I truely believe nothing should be manage by a Lawyer just like you would never have a CFO make management decisions over a CEO. .

I will use my freedom of speach and state that I belive David Stern is on the take form the Spurs, why else would he come down so hard on Phonex and allow the Spurs to go more or less free the Phonex boys did nothiong more than the Spurs did and were allowed to walk away scott free. How much did you make for that little joke of yours ? It has to be something, You are in a position to know that money talks and your s---walks. BAD DECESSION. Correct it ! .

As a lifelong Spurs fan I want to say I’m throughly embarrased at what "Cheap Shot" Rob did in the closing moments of game 4. We, Spurs fans, have always taken pride in how our players conduct themselves on and off the court but last night was an abomination. Amare and Boris did not deserve to be suspended and Horry needs to just go home for the rest of the series or play-offs should the Spurs advance further.I want to congratulate Mr. Nash on how classy he reacted to the hip check as well as the collision of heads in game 1. He is what all professional athletes should be like and let me amend that to all athletes on all levels.I also wish to congratulate the Suns on their never give up attitude they displayed last night when most teams would have folded their tents in the fourth quarter. Way to go Suns I hope you continue to display that kind of sportmanship and character and if the Spurs can’t win the title I’ll be pulling for you to do it. You deserve it and I might go so far to say that you deserve it more than the Spurs. .

I MEan come on this is fuckin rediculous...where are the suspensions for san antonio? duncan and bowen shud have been suspended a game as well if suspensions should be handed out...and horry should be gone for the playoffs, this is an embarrasing move by the NBA .

Here here, I’ll second that! David Stern is a disgraceful commissioner, he’s ruining the only good playoff series that is left. If this were Kobe or Shaq when they were on the Lakers, nothing would have been done. This guy changed a playoff format mid-season to accomodate the Lakers. Bruce Bowen kicks a guy in the balls and nothing happens, Robert Horry should be gone for the entire playoffs, and I believe Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen also wandered from the bench, but nothing happens to them. The blood rule also needs to go. This whole series has been an embarassment the way the Suns have been treated, and the Spurs and the whole league should be ashamed if they win the NBA championship. The NBA used to be so great, but now it’s garbage. .

David Stern needs to be lynched and hanged for his inability to commision the NBA like an intelligent human being. The suspensions he handedout to the Phoenix Suns and NOT to the Spurs is ridiculous. If I ever see David Stern I will promptly walk up to him, spit in his face and break his neck and hopefully his entire family will be there to see him die slowly!!! Stern is ruining the NBA and he is blatently pre-determining the outcome of games and the playoffs!! ANYONE WHO HAS THE MEANS, PLEASE KILL DAVID STERN!!!!!!! .
