LeBron on Dec 25th game vs. Lakers: I would rather be home with my family

James says any player in the league "would rather be home with their families." He’s been in the NBA eight seasons – and his teams have now been chosen to play on the marquee Christmas schedule five times.

HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: Credit LeBron James for being truthful.

James admitted he’d rather be home with family and friends on Christmas than leading the Miami Heat against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fair enough. Too bad, though. James has to play. And he won’t get any sympathy from the public.

Superstar athletes, like James, earn millions of dollars and enjoy an amazing lifestyle. With the money come expectations –like the possibility of having to entertain the masses on Jesus’ birthdays.

This is the deal with being an NBA player. And the positives of this deal far outweigh the negatives.
