Baron Davis says he was abducted by aliens. For real.
Baron Davis recently made a claim that we haven't heard from any other NBA star before to date: that he was actually abducted by aliens.
Hoopsvibe's quick call: It sounds crazy but who knows? Maybe he was…
Davis appeared on an episode of The Champs recently, which is a podcast hosted by comedians Neal Brennan and Moshe Kasher, and had a lot of interesting things to talk about, including growing up in LA, being a baller, plans for retirement and … his most recent alien abduction. Yep, BD actually claimed that he had a recent experience where he was temporarily abducted.
He said it all went down on a drive to LA back from Vegas (where I would imagine most alien abduction stories have taken place). He claims it was night time and saw a huge light that he thought was a truck, but the next thing he knew he was in some alien capsule with some weird half human half alien people for a short period of time.
"I was actually abducted by aliens like two weeks ago," Davis confessed on The Champs. "I was on my way back from Vegas here to LA, I was driving, and the next thing you know I was in this f*ckin' steel thing and these f*ckin' crazy lookin' people like half human like half f*ckin' ugly motherf*ckers .. they were pokin' me on my nose and shit, and they were like lookin' at me in my eyes, they had my hands tied up and the next thing you know I was f*ckin' in like Montebello like burnin' rubber on the way back to LA. It was like 4 o'clock in the morning."
Brennan then asks, "Did that actually happen?" (naturally one would ask that) to which BD replied "hell yea dude." He went on to allude that the details were kind of fuzzy (which details usually are when you're driving home from Vegas at 4am) but the next thing he remembers is pulling off the next exit into an In N' Out Burger to try and figure out what happened. He does admit that it wasn't really an abduction but he did feel that he came back sharper and was better at "retaining shit" after the experience.
What do you think, HoopsVibers? Was his story legit? Either way, I'm still a BD fan.
