Lebron James picks top 3 NBA ballers of all-time

Lebron James was recently asked who he thought were the best three NBA ballers of all-time, and one Hall of Famer seemed to have some objection to his answer.

Hoopsvibe's quick call:  When FOX Sports asked the question, we could see the pot stirring a mile away.

When questions like this get asked, we all know there's going to be one or two people who object.  And that is exactly what happened when Lebron James was asked his opinion on the top 3 players of all-time.  (It's a great question, btw, and kudos to FOX News for asking it.)

So who did James say were the best all-time?  Michael Jordan (obviously), Larry Bird and Julius Erving aka Dr. J.

"Can I get four?" he asked the reporter for FOX Sports.  He asked for a fourth because he wanted to include Lakers legend Magic Johnson.

For the record, when James answered the question, he was completely torn about leaving the legendary Magic Johnson off the list. Magic has always been a big Lebron fan and you can tell Lebron is a big fan of Magic as well.  Check out the short video clip of Lebron answering the question below.

So naturally, sometime after seeing the interview, the former Lakers point guard and part owner of the Dodgers took to Twitter to express his opinion.

"Lebron is entitled to his opinion, but I still think that he and I have a similar game and that's why I LOVE to watch him play!" Magic tweeted.  A second tweet soon followed that read:  "NBA Championship rings are all that matter; Jordan 6, Me 5, Bird 3, Lebron 2 and Dr. J 1."

If I were asked, I might say Jordan, Kobe, and Magic.  But it's tough to leave off  guys like Kareem, Bird, West, Robinson, Duncan.  It's just a tough question to answer.

We want to hear from you!  Who do you think are the top 3 all time??  Leave us your picks in the comment box below!
