Hinrich ready to go for the Bulls, Fizer and Mason to IL
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls activated rookies Kirk
Hinrich and Linton Johnson on Friday, placing Marcus Fizer and Roger Mason Jr.
on the injured list.
Hinrich, the seventh overall selection in this year’s NBA Draft, missed the
team’s final three pre-season games and the first five games of the regular
season with a viral infection. Johnson, an undrafted free agent, missed the
beginning of the season with an ankle sprain.
Both rookies could play in Friday’s game against the 76ers.
Fizer is sidelined with an inflamed right knee and Mason is suffering with a
left groin strain. Both players will miss at least the next five.
