(Sports Network) – Allen Iverson finished with 33 points, 11 assists and eight
steals to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 106-85 win over the Chicago Bulls
Friday at the United Center.

Iverson was 11-of-21 from the floor and Glenn Robinson chipped in 21 points
and 11 rebounds for the Sixers, who have won two of their last three games.

The Sixers pushed their lead to 40-25 early in the second quarter on a pair of
foul shots by Aaron McKie. Chicago countered with a 13-3 run, capped by an
Eddie Robinson jumper, to pull within 43-38. Philadelphia squelched the
Chicago surge and carried a 53-44 cushion into the break.

Philadelphia grabbed a comfortable lead when Robinson buried a three to make
it 79-59 with less than two minutes to go in the third quarter. The 76ers then
led by an 81-63 score after 36 minutes.

With less than seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, McKie drained a
three to extend Philadelphia’s lead to 92-71. McKie ended with 12 points off
the pine. The Bulls never put together a threatening comeback and suffered the
21-point loss.

Philadelphia is off until Sunday when it hosts the Indiana Pacers.

Sixers forward Kenny Thomas, who left in the third quarter with a back injury,
had four points. He is questionable for Sunday’s game.
