San Antonio Spurs Team Report – November 11

=== San Antonio Spurs Team Report – November 11 ===

(Sports Network) – Tim Duncan returned to the lineup and had 16 points, 10
rebounds, five assists and four blocks, as the San Antonio Spurs held on for
an 87-78 victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday at the SBC Center. Duncan, the
two-time reigning Most Valuable Player, had missed three contests due to a
sprained ankle.

The Spurs also got their point guard, Tony Parker, back for the first time
this season. He contributed nine points on just 2-of-10 shooting on David
Robinson night in San Antonio. The Spurs defeated the Jazz for the 14th
straight time.

Robinson, the Spurs’ all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocked shots,
steals and games played, helped the club to a pair of championships during his
14 years in San Antonio. His No. 50 jersey was raised to the rafters in a
postgame ceremony hosted by former teammates Steve Kerr and Sean Elliott.

Manu Ginobili contributed 18 points and seven rebounds for the Spurs, who had
lost their last two games at home — both without Duncan.

The Spurs are off until Wednesday when they visit the New Jersey Nets in a
rematch of last year’s NBA Finals.
