Kenyon Martin makes return
East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) – New Jersey Nets forward Kenyon Martin
was in the starting lineup for Wednesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs
after missing nearly two weeks with a sprained left ankle.
Martin was injured in a win over Minnesota on October 31 while jumping to
block a shot by Latrell Sprewell.
In two games this season, Martin has averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds.
Last year, Martin posted career-bests of 16.7 points and 8.4 boards in 77
games as the Nets made the NBA Finals for the second straight season.
