=== Detroit Pistons Team Report – November 13 ===

(Sports Network) – Detroit lost its second straight game, as the Golden
State Warriors defeated the Pistons, 87-85, in overtime on Wednesday at the
Arena.

The Pistons are 0-2 on their current four-game road trip.

Chauncey Billups posted 19 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds for the
Pistons, who have lost two straight after winning five in a row. Richard
Hamilton registered 17 points, while Tayshaun Prince chipped in 16 points. Ben
Wallace ended with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Nick Van Exel’s free throw at about the 3:00 mark was the first point of the
extra session and it gave the Warriors a 79-78 edge. Calbert Cheaney then
connected on a runner from the lane for a three-point Warriors lead, but a
Wallace dunk brought Detroit back within one at 81-80 with 1:27 left.

However, Clifford Robinson nailed a jumper from the wing to restore the
Warriors lead at 83-80 with 43 seconds left. Billups then followed with two
free throws and Detroit again trailed by just one. Cheaney responded by
drilling a baseline bucket and the Golden State advantage was back up to
three, 85-82.

On the ensuing possession, Hamilton threw the ball away to give the ball back
to Golden State. Mike Dunleavy was then fouled and hit one of two from the
charity stripe for a four-point edge, but Billups quickly hit a three-pointer
from way behind the arc to bring the Pistons within 86-85.

Van Exel, though, made good on a foul shot on the other end for the final
margin before a last-second attempt by Prince was released after time expired.

Detroit made 17 of its 21 foul shots.

The Pistons are off until Friday when they visit Gary Payton and the Los
Angeles Lakers.
