Bulls’ Crawford released from hospital
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – Chicago Bulls guard Jamal Crawford was
fortunate to only suffer a neck sprain after falling awkwardly on his head
during the fourth quarter of Thursday’s overtime loss to Minnesota.
Crawford was taken from the court on a stretcher and brought to Rush
Presbyterian Hospital for precautionary reasons. He was later released after
all tests were negative.
The 23-year-old Crawford was guarding Fred Hoiberg at the three-point line
and went for Hoiberg’s head fake. Crawford ended up doing almost a full flip
and landed on his head and neck.
Crawford had just five points and five fouls before suffering the injury.
The 6-foot-5 Crawford is averaging 13.3 points and 4.6 assists in 10 games
