(Sports Network) – Washington suffered a tough 105-101 overtime loss to the
Miami Heat in South Florida on Friday night.

Gilbert Arenas posted 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the
Wizards lost their third straight and fifth in seven games. Larry Hughes
chipped in 22 points and Jarvis Hayes added 17.

Kwame Brown grabbed 10 rebounds for the Wizards, who were outrebounded 53-43
in the game.

The Wizards, who sit in third place in the Atlantic Division, are 2-2 on the
season at home.

Washington continues to play without starting guard Jerry Stackhouse, who is
sidelined after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. Stackhouse isn’t
expected to return until December at the earliest.

The Wizards return home Saturday night to face the defending World Champion
San Antonio Spurs. Washington won its home contest against San Antonio last
season.
