(Sports Network) – The Nets cruised to a 100-85 win over the Atlanta Hawks
on Saturday night.

Kenyon Martin scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to pace the Nets to the
win. Jason Kidd added 21 points and eight assists for the Nets, who have won
two straight after losing four of five.

Richard Jefferson netted 14 points and Alonzo Mourning added 10 off the bench
for New Jersey, which shot 48 percent (35-of-73) from the floor. The Nets went
4-of-9 from three-point range and 26-of-30 from the free throw line.

New Jersey had a nine-point edge at halftime and took a 76-62 lead into the
fourth quarter. The Nets took their largest lead of the game at 81-62 on a
three-point play by Zoran Planinic with 10:40 left in the fourth.

New Jersey dominated in the paint (40-26) and on the break (17-10).

Atlanta still leads the all-time series with the Nets, 74-47, including a
46-14 record against New Jersey at home.

The Nets don’t play again until Tuesday at home versus the New Orleans
