Spurs’ Carter activated from injured list
San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) – The San Antonio Spurs activated guard
Anthony Carter from the injured list on Tuesday. Carter missed the last nine
games with patella tendinitis in his left knee.
To create room on the roster, the Spurs placed forward/center Sean Marks on
the injured list with the same injury.
Carter started the first two games for the Spurs this season in place of the
injured Tony Parker and averaged 5.0 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per
Marks, who was re-signed by the club on Monday, has yet to appear in a game
this season, but posted 3.1 points and 3.4 boards per game in eight preseason
