Nets activate forward Rodney Rogers
East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) – The New Jersey Nets have activated
forward Rodney Rogers from the injured list for Tuesday’s game against the New
Rogers, suffered a laceration on his left hand during the Nets’ season opener
against the Toronto Raptors on October 29. He left the game after playing
just 18 minutes and has not played since.
The 11-year veteran averaged 7.0 points and 3.9 rebounds in 68 games in his
first season with the Nets last year.
To make room on the roster, the Nets placed guard Tamar Slay on the injured
list with a strained right groin. Slay appeared in just four games and
averaged 2.8 points per contest.
