(Sports Network) – Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored a game-high 27 points with 11
rebounds to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a 101-93 victory over Milwaukee at the
Bradley Center on Tuesday.

Jason Terry added 19 points and six assists for the Hawks, who snapped a nine-
game losing streak in Milwaukee.

With Atlanta leading 66-57, Abdur-Rahim scored to ignite a 9-2 run. Stephen
Jackson hit from three-point range during the spurt and Theo Ratliff hit a
pair from the free throw line to give the Hawks a 75-59 lead with just over
three minutes left in the third quarter. Abdur-Rahim had eight points in the
period and Atlanta took an 81-67 lead in the final stanza.

Field goals by Lee Nailon and Jacque Vaughn to begin the final stanza
increased the Hawks’ lead to 85-67. A jumper by Nailon midway through the
final quarter kept the Bucks comfortably in front, 93-73.

The Bucks scored five unanswered points in the final minute, but it was too
late to threaten the Atlanta lead.

The Hawks were 21-of-24 from the charity stripe.

Atlanta has won four of its last six against Milwaukee.

The Hawks are off until Friday when they travel to San Antonio to meet Tim
Duncan and the Spurs.
